How to Survive, Succeed and Grow

Led by CT MGMA in collaboration with the DE MGMA, MA/RI MGMA, MD MGMA, NY MGMA, PA MGMA, and VA MGMA.

About the Webinar

Planning for physician ownership succession will ensure not only the survivability of the practice, but also continued success and growth.  Strategic planning, careful due diligence of recruitment, and continual process management are hallmarks of successful physician transition. In this presentation, you will discover a proven step-by-step practice ownership transition strategy that will not only ensure the survivability of the practice -- but will also position the practice for continued growth and profitability.  The best practices, and practical "how-to" ownership transition techniques, explained in this presentation can help you to avoid common, but costly mistakes that quickly turn transition into a financial and legal disaster for both buyer and seller.

Objectives:
  1. Why it is absolutely critical to start planning for practice transition now, even if ownership transition is still years away.
  2. How to start thinking about ownership transition -- key issues and considerations --  common mistakes and misconceptions about practice ownership transition that can quickly derail a smooth ownership transition.
  3. Best practices for partnership structure.
